SYNOPSIS:
Michael pursues Austin Templeton, a master magician he believes murdered a Foundation trustee - although he was apparently on stage performing at the time. Matters are complicated when Templeton begins to date Bonnie, and K.I.T.T.'s scanners start to malfunction...

TRIVIA:
Dr. Ian Browning is one of the original scientists who developed K.I.T.T.'s systems. He joins Marco Berio (who appeared in the episode KILLER K.I.T.T.) as another F.L.A.G. technician gone bad.
Lance Burton is a successful real-life magician, and makes one of the better bad guys in the show's final year.
Mary Beth Evans previously appeared in the second season's WHITE-LINE WARRIORS. She co-starred in the syndicated soap opera Rituals opposite fellow Knight Rider guest stars Jo Ann Pflug, Tina Louise, Lorinne Vozoff, Sharon Farrell, Gina Gallego, Peter Haskell, Antony Ponzini and Lynn Hamilton.
SCRIPT TO SCREEN:
Templeton is introduced as a "handsome, charming, hypnotic fellow of thirty-five, on stage in top hat and tails." Much of Lance Burton's dialogue leaves room for improvisation, and the chance for the real-life magician to bring his own unique act to the show.
K.I.T.T.'s risque exchange with the Blonde received a few slight cuts.
