SYNOPSIS:
Michael and K.I.T.T. come to the aid of Nick O'Brien, a friend of Devon's who is being forced out of business by a powerful Japanese businessman. Tanika is trying to abduct Nick's son Coy, a direct descendent of the founder of an ancient terrorist cult, and wants the boy to take his place as their leader.

TRIVIA:
Devon knows Nick O'Brien from the Korean War -- they both served aboard the Allied Command in the early 1950s.
Rummel Mor and George Kee Cheung worked together previously on an episode of Glen Larson's Manimal. Ken Swofford guest starred with Edward Mulhare on the 1970's Battlestar Galactica episode Experiment in Terra. Paul Tuerpe previously appeared in the third season episode KNIGHT STRIKE.
SCRIPT TO SCREEN:
Nick O'Brien is described as "a bulk of a man, his face eroded by time but [with] Irish spirit still lighting the eyes."
Cut scenes include RC3 and Michael leaving the O'Brien complex (and Michael promising Coy he'll take him for a ride in his "super car"), and Tanika's rant "They think they have won -- but they have yet to face the spirit of the kamikaze!" (which appears in the episode's teaser).
