TRIVIA:

The Final Verdict is dedicated to the memory of Executive Producer R.A. Cinader ("He was an original") who passed away during filming. He contributed to many of the early scripts, and helped shape the series into the success it became.

Many actors appearing in this episode would return later in the series. Ramon Bieri would play "Acid" John Birock in the third season's Junk Yard Dog, while Don Gordon would appear again in the episode immediately preceeding it, Knight by a Nose. Tim Rossovich also appears in Knights of the Fast Lane, while Michael Masters has bit parts in Knight Strike and Knight Song. Michael J. London guests in Blind Spot, and June Christopher previously appeared in the episode Just My Bill, which aired just over a month before this one!

Writer Tom Greene would return as a co-producer and writer the following year.

SCRIPT TO SCREEN:

Cheryl Burns is described as "a twenty-six-year-old woman with blonde hair and a fawn-like countenance." Butch is "a hairy, hard-looking hombre with forearms twice the size of Steve Garvey's." Farlan is "a burly man who knows how to get his way."

Cut scenes include Marty opening his door after Michael is arrested by Brad at the end of Act One; Michael and K.I.T.T. pursuing Marty (who is a terrible driver) through traffic to the health club; and a frustrated Michael and K.I.T.T. getting to each other before Michael deduces that Marty is hiding in his own apartment.
