TRIVIA:

K.I.T.T. has an amusing solution to traffic jams at the beginning of this episode.

It's a strict code of the Foundation that there's no personal involvement in the case at hand.

K.I.T.T. has unlimited capabilities -- over 50 million Ks in storage and can introduce one million more every day if need be. That's a vast improvement from earlier in the season: in DEAD OF KNIGHT, K.I.T.T. states that he has "1000 Mega Bits of memory, and a 1 nano-second access time."

Michael describes Bonnie as "K.I.T.T.'s mother, she takes care of K.I.T.T. with all of the maternal love and ferocity of a tigress." Bonnie says that K.I.T.T. is Michael's, she just puts him back together again. Devon adds that Michael gives her "many opportunities to do so."

Michael has a shipment to be delivered to Armorbilt. That's also the name of the company in the episode BUY OUT.

Actor Bruce Neckels also appears in the episodes NO BIG THING and KNIGHT OF A THOUSAND DEVILS.

SCRIPT TO SCREEN:

Shatner was originally named Edmund Jordan (it's unclear whether he retained his first name: it's unused in the episode). He is described as "out of place in [his] surroundings...His dress is severe in comparison to the sounding decor...He is a tall, thin, heavy boned man with an intellectual brow and a brooding calculating look...[he] always has an upset stomach." Sally Flynn was envisaged by writer Burton Armus as "a wisp of a kid...She's as cute as a button, as tough and as much of a tomboy as the rest of the Flynn clan."

Michael originally used the Turbo Boost to get past Flynn's truck on the narrow road. In the episode he uses the Ski Mode.
